Dr. Clements was raised in Alexandria, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia and then received her degree in osteopathic medicine from NOVA Southeastern University in South Florida. She completed her residency at the Medical College of Virginia where she served on the faculty for one year as Chief Medical Resident, the first osteopathic chief resident in Virginia history. Dr. Clements continued to complete her fellowship training at VCU-MCV .
Dr. Clements is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. She is Board Certified in Rheumatology and maintains excellence in knowledge in the subspecialty with recertification status completed recently. Dr. Clements is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist, which is a designation awarded to clinicians for interpretation of bone densitometry. Dr Clements is also the Laboratory Director our high complexity lab at AASF.
In 1999, Dr. Clements joined Arthritis Associates of South Florida and, with her osteopathic training, has a special interest in the holistic and naturopathic management of muskuloskeletal complaints.
Dr. Clements has also received the distinguished “Medical Physician of the Year 2013” Award from the Palm Beach County Medical Society Services.

Steven Goodman, M.D., F.A.C.P

Steven Goodman, M.D., F.A.C.P
Dr. Goodman is originally from Washington, D.C. and is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He attended medical school at the George Washington University and went on to do his residency in both internal medicine and pediatrics through Columbia University. He then continued his training in Philadelphia where he completed a Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and an Adult Rheumatology Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). Some of his honors include Scholar of the Year Award from the American College of Rheumatology, Fellow of the Year from both CHOP and HUP and membership in the William Beaumont Society.
Dr. Goodman is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He has been practicing with Arthritis Associates of South Florida since 1995 and provides rheumatological care to both adult and pediatric patient.

Phillip Kallen, M.D., F.A.C.P

Phillip Kallen, M.D., F.A.C.P
Dr. Kallen was born and raised in New York. He obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated cum laude. He went on to receive his M.D. degree at the Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. His internship and residency were completed at the North Shore University Hospital at Cornell University Medical Center, in affiliation with the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. At Memorial Sloan-Kettering, he also served as Assistant Chief Resident. He completed his fellowship at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Centers in Los Angeles, at which time he received the Southern California Arthritis Foundation Research Award.
Dr. Kallen then returned to New York where he began a very successful solo practice in adult and pediatric rheumatology. He also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Cornell University Medical College and taught extensively at the North Shore University Hospital. In 1986, Dr. Kallen left New York and, along with Dr. Steven Croft, he formed Arthritis Associates of South Florida.
Dr. Kallen is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatololgy and is certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.
Philippe Saxe, M.D., F.A.C.P

Dr. Phillipe Saxe, M.D., F.A.C.P
Dr. Saxe was raised in Melbourne, Florida and obtained his undergraduate degree at Hamilton College. He subsequently received his M.D. degree at The University of Miami School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Saxe completed his internship and first year of residency in internal medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He completed his third year of medical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida. Dr. Saxe then completed his rheumatology fellowship at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. In 1990, Dr. Saxe joined Arthritis Associates of South Florida and is also certified in clinical densitometry.
Dr. Saxe is Board Certified in Rheumatology and maintains excellence in knowledge in the subspecialty by successfully maintaining his recertification status. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology and has served as president of the Florida Society of Rheumatology 2011-2012, remaining actively involved with critical legislation that has helped assure access to care for our patients. In addition, Dr. Saxe serves as a director on the board of the Coalition of State Rheumatology Organization, an organization that advocates for other state rheumatology organizations and lobbies in Washington on issues affecting rheumatologists and their patients.
Dr. Saxe is fluent in French and Spanish.

Dr. William Romanos, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Dr. Romanos completed his training in Internal Medicine at Unity Health System, an affiliate of University of Rochester, New York. He has been in medicine for over 20 years, spending time as a hospitalist at Beaumont Health System where he served on the ethics committee. He was also appointed as Assistant Professor at the University of Oakland William Beaumont School of Medicine and enjoyed teaching medical students. He then returned for further training and completed a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Kentucky in Lexington where he served as chief fellow in his second year. During his tenure there, Dr Romanos was involved in quality projects to improve vaccinations in patients with autoimmune diseases and his research focus was on the overlap between rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.
Dr. Romanos is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, Florida Society of Rheumatology, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Romanos uses his extensive training in internal medicine and experience in inpatient care to treat complex rheumatology patients. Dr. Romanos is a consultant rheumatologist at Delray Medical center.
Dr. Romanos joined Arthritis Associates of South Florida in 2019. When not at work, Dr. Romanos enjoys playing tennis and spending quality time with his wife and young children.
